INTEGRITY  (The “I” in IronGuys)

Would you agree INTEGRITY is the most important attribute any law enforcement officer can possess and practice on and off duty? 
Check out what the Bible has to say about that:

  • He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known. Proverbs 10:9(NKJV)
  • This is what the LORD Almighty says: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another.  Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your hearts do not think evil of each other. Zechariah 7:9-10(NIV)
  • The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.  Proverbs 11:3(NKJV)
  • He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abi the daughter of Zechariah.  And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father David had done.  2 Kings 18:2-3(NKJV)

  • All I did was just and honest. Righteousness covered me like a robe, and I wore justice like a turban. Job 29:14(NLT)
  • Better is the poor who walks in his integrity     Than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich. Proverbs 28:6(NKJV)
  • …keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 3:16(NIV)
  • Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men…  Colossians 3:23(NIV)
  • The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him. Proverbs 20:7(NKJV)
  • “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. “Luke 16:10(NIV)
  • I know that you are pleased with me, for my enemy does not triumph over me. In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever. Psalms 41:11-12(NIV)
  • Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us. 1 Peter 2:12(NIV)
  • For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of men. 2 Corinthians 8:21(NIV)
  • To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice. Proverbs 21:3(NIV)
  • Do to others as you would have them do to you. Luke 6:31(NIV)
  • Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Philippians 4:8(NIV)
  • …my lips will not speak wickedness, and my tongue will utter no deceit. I will never admit you are in the right;  till I die, I will not deny my integrity. Job 27:4-5(NIV)
  • May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you. Psalms 25:21(NIV)
  • The righteousness of the blameless makes a straight way for them, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness. The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires.  Proverbs 11:5-6(NIV)
  • Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.  Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.  Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men,  because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free. Ephesians 6:5-8(NIV)
