DEATH

Every LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER will experience the reality of the DEATH of a citizen, friend, family or co-worker. Yet, even though we will go through these difficult times, did you know the Bible offers us tremendous encouragement?

• Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death. John 8:51

• The LORD cares deeply when his loved ones die. Psalm 116:15

• Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. Psalm 23:4

• And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14

• And now he has made all of this plain to us by the appearing of Christ Jesus, our Savior. He broke the power of death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the Good News. 2 Timothy 1:10

• Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts… 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

• And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4

• Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die... John 11:25-26 (NLT)
