Keep the Peace

Law enforcement officers will frequently respond to “Keep the Peace” calls, but did you know the bible also tells us how to “Keep the Peace” in our hearts, lives, jobs and families?  Check this out:

  • Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.   John 14:27
  • And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:7
  • The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.  Numbers 6:24-26
  • Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest  Matthew 11:28

  • There is deceit in the hearts of those who plot evil, but joy for those who promote peace.  Proverbs 12:20
  • When a man’s ways are pleasing to the LORD, he makes even his enemies live at peace with him.  Proverbs 16:7
  • Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. Romans 14:19
