Our Gracious Lord, We come in earnest into Your wonderful presence to lift up a Columbia Police Officer who was seroously injured earlier after being stabbed by a suspect.  Lord, we need a touch from the Master’s Hand upon her entire body as ask You to bring about a complete healing.  May You provide the best medical care for this officer and may You send various medical specialists to her who will be able to effectively diagnose and properly treat her injuries.  May Your mercies and presence especially touch the family and friends of this injured officer and draw them ever so close to Your side to experience Your grace and comfort.  As the suspect who caused this attack escaped, may Your Holy Spirit touch the heart and mind of this suspect and cause confusion and guilt and may this suspect never be able to sleep until he is apprehended.  May You prevent this suspect from harming any other officers or citizens.  Grant the investigators wisdom to track this suspect and take him into custody.  Most importantly Lord, may Your peace, grace, comfort and love encircle the men and women of the Columbia Police Department as they rally around their co-worker and her family at this very emotional time.  As we know Your ways are not our ways, we pray for Your supernatural intervention in this entire situation.  May Your Holy Spirit speak to the heart and spirit of this officer and fill her with Your peace and grace.  If she does not know You as Savior and Lord, may You provide her an opportunity to receive You into her heart and receive eternal life.  May every officer, friend and family member know that they can perpetually cast all their burdens upon You because You intimately love us unconditionally.  May You raise up chaplains and Godly officers to be available to support those in need.  May You use this to draw many unto Your Son, the Author of Life. May many recognize their need to receive Your Son into their hearts.  Continue to provide the best medical care and bring about a full healing for Your injured peacemaker for Your word says You will never leave us nor forsake us, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
