Lord of Heaven and Earth, We come into Your Presence, O’ Lord, to lift up Deputy Hogan into Your Arms of Love.  As the news reports he has already undergone surgery, we ask You to continue to Pour out Your Healing power and mercies upon his body and restore him to complete health.  As we know his family is at his side, may You strengthen their hearts and minds as they love and support him at this very emotional time.  May they all be drawn unto Your side.  If Deputy Hogan does not know You, may You allow him to hear the gospel and receive You as His savior and Lord.  May your mercy and grace also be with the family of the suspect who lost his life in this shooting.  May they, too, come to receive You as savior and Lord if they do not know You.  Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to settle upon the entire Queen Anne County Sheriff’s Department as we know they have been deeply affected by this attack on one of their co-workers and friend.  May they sense Your grace and most of all, Your Peace that passes all understanding.  May your healing touch continue to be upon this Deputy Hogan.  Continue to pour out Your wisdom and amazing grace on the doctor’s to restore him to complete health.  May your Holy Spirit also settle upon the mind and soul of every law enforcement officer involved in this incident and protect them from any future emotional, mental and physical trauma that can result from incidents like these.  May You provide every deputy with an awesome support system and may many be drawn to You Lord, where there is endless mercy and grace.  May your peace that passes all understanding also settle upon the families of all of these law enforcement officers who often will experience the same emotional and spiritual stress and pressure caused by this incident.  May the comfort of the Holy Spirit settle upon the entire Queen Anne County Sheriff’s  Department and upon the many co-workers, medical professionals, friends and family.   And if any deputy involved in this incident may be struggling, may they be drawn to Your Side where your arms of love will comfort them through this difficult time.  May they know Your Word says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. May many have an opportunity to know You in a real and personal way, this we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
