Jaison Potts shot in the face

O’ Our Merciful Lord, it with a deep sense of urgency that we come boldly
into your Presence to lift up Officer Jaison Potts into Your loving arms. As
news reports he was shot in the face, we seek Your presence, grace and
healing power to immediately settle upon him right now. O’ Lord, because You
alone are our Rock and our Fortress and our ever-present help in times of
trouble, we earnestly come before your Throne of Grace to ask You to
supernaturally touch this officer. As he has been taken to a trauma center,
may You continue to provide the needed medical specialists and doctors to
quickly diagnose his wound and apply the correct surgical treatment and
medications to save this peacemaker. As we know the family of Officer Potts
is at his side and are in deep distress, we seek Your amazing grace to
sustain them through this very difficult time. Lord, may your sustaining
grace, peace and mercy touch the hearts and souls of the men and women of
the Philadelphia Police Department as they rally to support their law
enforcement family. Continue to pour out Your wisdom on the medical staff to
save the life of this wounded servant. May You grant the investigators
wisdom and insight to piece together the facts of this incident. As other
officers were present and had to witness one of their comrades to be wounded
and then use their weapons, we know that they can be affected mentally,
emotionally and spiritually. May Your amazing grace prevent them from
enduring any short-term or long-term affects upon their hearts minds and may
they be drawn unto Your side for grace. May Your words as follows speak to
the hearts of so many, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I
am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with
my righteous right hand.” ; and “Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the
upholder of my life.” So Lord, raise up chaplains and other Christian
officers to bring comfort to all. May many know and intimately experience
Your grace and mercy. O’ Lord, continue to touch and heal Your servant,
Officer Potts, this we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
