Our Father of Mercy, we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up the men and women of the Bibb County Sheriff's Department as they mourn the loss of one of their dear friends and co-worker, Deputy Kenterrous Taylor, who lost his life from a collision while responding to a burglary call. May your arms of comfort and hands of mercy be upon the entire Bibb County Sheriff's Department and may You carry them through this difficult time of loss.  May your grace, love, peace, mercy and kindness especially settle this Deputy Taylor’s family as they endure this tragic loss. May they intimately sense Your sweet Presence carrying them through this time of loss.  As so many deputies, co-workers and family members are in shock and mourning ever so greatly, may they know they can place their trust in you during this difficult time as You carry them through this time of loss. May those who are greatly mourning know that even when they pass through “deep waters”, may they know You will be with them right at their side. And as they go through this trial, may they know you will be with them every step of the way for Your word says that the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted. So Lord, may your grace continue to made known to those hurting ever so greatly. May your mighty arms of love sustain the men and women of the Bibb County Sheriff's Department especially in the coming days as they must begin to prepare a final farewell to their fallen colleague. And Lord, as we know all things work together for good, to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose, may many be drawn to You for comfort and may many have an opportunity to know that true peace and comfort can only be found in Your Son. May You raise up chaplains and godly deputies to share the love of Your Son and may many have an opportunity to come into a first-time personal relationship with Him. This we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
