Our Father in Heaven, we come boldly and in great earnest before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a critically injured San Marcos Police officer into Your Arms of love. As the news reports indicate he is currently undergoing surgery, we seek Your Presence and healing power to descend upon this officer. May You grant the doctors and entire medical staff supernatural wisdom and discernment to be able to accurately diagnose his injuries and apply the correct medical treatment. May Your Holy Spirit surround this injured officer as he is being treated and may Your Holy Spirit indwell the heart and mind of this officer and draw him ever so close to Your Heart. And if he does not know You in a real and personal way, may you raise up Godly officers and chaplains to share Your amazing love and compassion to this officer. May Your love, grace, peace, wisdom and comfort especially settle upon the family of this officer as they rally at his side loving and supporting their loved one through this difficult time. May this officer and his family intimately know Your peace that passes all understanding and that it is You who are at their side. May Your Holy Spirit speak to his heart even as he is sedated and reveal to him your love and Presence.  Grant the family members of this injured officer a calm spirit as they wait upon, You, Lord. May they remember that Your word says to cast all their cares on You for You care for them. And as we know there are many other San Marcos Police Department members rallying around their injured comrade and his family, may Your Arms of love and compassion touch their hearts and minds and may You bring them comfort as a Father loves his son. So Lord, continue to touch this officer in a supernatural way and may You heal him in a way to bring glory to Your Name. May You use this collision to cause many San Marcos Police officers and others to examine their hearts. And if anyone has strayed from Your Love, may You draw them ever so close to You. May many know your word says, “The Lord sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness you restore him to full health”, and, “…yet to as many received Him, to those who believe in His Name [Jesus], He gave the right to become children of God.” So Lord, draw many unto Your Son, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
