Praying for the Victoria (Australia) Police Department in the on-duty fatality of four police officers

Our Merciful Lord, [in the midst of this global pandemic] the hearts of the men and women of law enforcement in Australia and the world are deeply broken and hurting at that tragic loss of four Victoria Police Officers from this horrific on-duty collision.  O’ Lord, at a time like this, we know the entire Victoria Police Department is in shock and grieving ever so greatly at the loss of their dear friends and co-workers.  Not only is the department grieving, but so are the family members of these four officers.  We therefore come with great boldness unto Your Throne of Grace to seek Your amazing grace, Presence, comfort and mercy to descend upon the entire Victoria Police Department.  May You surround them with Your love, grace, mercy, Your Presence and Your compassion as they mourn this great loss.  We especially lift up the families of these officers who we know have a deep emptiness in their heart and soul. May You wrap Your arms around them and hold them ever so tightly as they are in great need of Your comfort. Lord, we ask You to grant the investigators with supernatural wisdom and insight to be able to gather all of the facts surrounding this crash and locate the driver who fled.  May any co-worker or family member whose heart is deeply broken know Your Word says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”  May Your mercy and grace touch the army of first responders and others who responded to that scene and witness this horrific tragedy of these uniformed officers. Lord, we seek and need Your amazing grace and touch upon those mourning and grieving ever so greatly.  May the love of Your Son descend upon their hearts and sustain them with Your Arms of Love and Mercy.  And as the Victoria Police Department must now begin the process to say farewell to their fallen comrades, may You use this ceremony to draw many unto your Side and may many have an opportunity to know and receive Your Son as their Savior and Lord.  May they know that Your word says, “Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give You rest.”  May any in need of Your Touch know Your Word says that, “Now is the day of salvation.”  And. “Peace I leave you. My peace I give you”.  This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
