Praying for the Naples (ITALY) Police in the on-duty fatality of Officer Pasquale Apicella

Our Merciful Lord, we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up the men and women of the Naples Police Department as they cope with the loss of one of their officers and a second injured officer from this intentional collision.  May you to grant the men and women of the Naples Police Department supernatural wisdom and insight to be able to investigate this heinous attack upon Your peacemaker-servants. May You surround every member of law enforcement in Naples with Your Arms of Love and protect them from all harm, danger and evil.  As we know this loss has affected so many, we seek Your love, grace, peace, mercy and comfort to be with the families of the fallen and wounded officers.  May they know Your word says, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” May You also touch the medical staff who are treating the second officer and grant them wisdom and insight to treat and restore this officer to full health. So Lord, surround the men and women of the Naples Police Department with Your Protecting Arms as they mourn the loss of Officer Pasquale Apicella.  May they all be drawn unto the love of Your Son and may every law enforcement officer know Your word says, “If the Son will set you free, you will be free indeed.”  O’ Lord, place a thirst for Your Son in the hearts of every law enforcement officer and every citizen in Italy.  Also, may they intimately know Your word says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”   May Your amazing grace and love be poured out upon those grieving.  We are so thankful that the news reports indicate the suspects are in custody.  Finally, Lord, as the Naples Police must begin the task of preparing a final farewell for Officer Apicella, may You use this service to draw many unto Your Son.  May Your Holy Spirit touch the hearts of many whose hearts are empty and are searching for truth for You told us that You are the Way, the Truth and the Life, this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
