Praying for the Fort Bend (TX) County Constable in the on duty, (friendly fire), accidental death of Deputy Constable Caleb Rule

Our Father in Heaven, Our hearts are broken as we grieve with the men and women of the Fort Bend County Constable in this tragic death of Deputy Constable Caleb Rule.  O Lord, we ask for Your supernatural presence to be made known in the hearts of the entire Fort Bend County Sheriff and Constable Departments as they sense a tremendous emptiness in their souls.  May You be that Rock, that Fortress and an ever-present help to them in this time of trouble.  Lord, we especially ask you to touch the family members of Deputy Constable Rule who are also in deep mourning from this tragic and sudden loss.  May You surround them with Your sweet presence and may they know they can lean on You for You intimately care for them.  May You grant an extra measure of grace and comfort to the many individuals who were involved in this tragic accidental shooting.  May You take this tragedy, by Your grace and mercies, Lord, and turn this into a blessing in the hearts of so many.  May the memory of Deputy Constable Rule be treasured forever and may You use this as an opportunity to draw many friends, family members and members of the Fort Bend County Sheriff and Constable Departments ever so close to Your side for You said, “Never would You leave us and Never would You forsake us.”  As this tragic incident in investigated, may the cause be found and may other accidents like this be prevented.  May many be comforted with Your words as follows, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” And, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”  Lastly, in the days to come, as the preparations are made to say farewell to Deputy Rule, may You use this as an opportunity for the love of Your Son to be shared with many.  May many friends, family members and co-workers come to receive Your Son into their hearts as their Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
