Our Father in Heaven, We come into Your Presence, Lord, to lift up two of Your peacemakers intentionally hit by a vehicle during protests in the line of duty—just protecting their community. As the news reports these officers are in stable condition, we seek Your healing touch to be upon these officers heart, mind and body. Thank You, Lord, for sparing their lives. May You empower the doctors and medical professionals with wisdom to be able to accurately and swiftly diagnose their injuries and apply the appropriate treatment. May Your mercies and grace touch the body of these law enforcement officer and sustain them with Your Arms of Love. May he make a full recovery in body, spirit and mind. We are so thankful the suspect has been arrested.  May You grant the investigators with wisdom to gather all of the facts and evidence in this case.  May Your love, grace, peace, mercy and everlasting comfort settle upon the heart and mind of every New York State Police and Buffalo Police Officers who had to witness this chaotic attack. May Your amazing grace especially descend upon the families of these injured peace officers and their colleagues as they are rally around them to love and support them at this very emotional time. Lord, as we know this attempted murder of these peace officers will affect many co-workers and others in the local law enforcement community, may Your grace and love surround them and hold them ever so tightly in Your Hands. May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a beacon of light to these injured officers and any others who were involved in this near-death encounter. If either injured law enforcement officer does not know You personally, may You remove the scales from their eyes and heart and reveal to him the love of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life. May they know Your word says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”  O’ Lord, let Your peace that passes all understanding settle in the hearts of these injured officers, their families and in the heart of every member of the New York State Police and Buffalo Police.  Lord, preserve the hearts and minds of those affected and spare them from any short-term or long-term emotional trauma. May You use this incident Lord, to open the hearts of many to know and receive the salvation of Your Son in whom there is everlasting life. May You use this to draw many who may have fallen away from You and may You welcome them back into Your arms of Loving kindness, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
