Our Father in Heaven,  we again come boldly before Your Precious Throne of Grace to lift up three more of Your Servants wounded as they were apprehending a suspect wanted for the attempted murder of a peacemaker.  O’ Lord, may we be reminded from Your word that every peace officer is one of Your servants for the sake of every citizen for Your word says, “4The policeman is sent by God to help you.” (Romans 13:4 TLB).  As we do not know the extent of the injuries of these three peace officers, we come in great earnest into Your Presence and ask for Your Amazing Grace to touch these peacemakers right now.  May You spare their lives O’ God.  As these peacemakers are being treated at a hospital, may You have the correct medical specialists already in place and ready to treat your servants.  May You touch each of these officer’s wounds with Your healing touch from head to toe.  May You raise up the correct medical specialists and may they apply the correct treatment to spare their lives and bring about a full recovery.   As the news report the suspect is down and we do not know the extent of his wound(s), may Your mercy and grace touch the suspect, too, and spare his life.  We are so thankful unto You, Lord, for answering our prayers and allowing the suspect to be apprehended.  As this investigation is still very active, grant the investigators wisdom to gather all of the facts.  O’ God, place your hands of protection around every law enforcement officer in America and abroad and protect them from this day forward.  May You begin to make the citizens of America intimately aware in their hearts and minds that law enforcement officers everywhere deeply care about citizens and will protect them at all cost.  Merciful Lord, may You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to be a representative of Your Son to these wounded officers, their co-workers and their families.  May those in need recognize the name of Jesus to be their ray of hope, love, grace, peace, comfort and mercy at all times.  O’ God, spare these officers.  May Your peace that passes all understanding be made known in the hearts of those in need.  May Your word as follows bring comfort to many, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction…” ; “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” And, “This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.”  Lord, as we know this attack has emotionally and spiritually challenged countless peace officers, may Your amazing grace prevent them from enduring any short-term or long-term trauma.  May those in distress know that Your word says, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most-High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”  May Your love, grace, peace, mercy comfort and Presence touch every peacemaker involved in this incident, in the name of Jesus, Amen
