Our Gracious Lord, It is with great earnest that we come unto Your Throne of Grace to lift up a seriously injured Riverdale Police Officer from an on-duty collision. As he is reported to be in serious condition, we come into Your Presence Lord, the Great Physician, and ask for Your mercies and grace to intervene and touch him from head to toe. May You grant the medical staff continued wisdom to use their skills and training to diagnose and render the correct treatment in order to fully restore Your injured servant to complete health. May Your love, presence, mercy, grace and peace especially settle upon his family who are rallying at his side as we know they are filled with a multitude of emotions, anxiety and concern. May your grace and love especially touch the many other members of the Riverdale Police Department and first responders who were first on the scene to render first aid to their injured comrade. May Your presence and peace sustain also them and uplift them with Your grace. Grant the collision investigators wisdom and insight to piece together the details of this collision in which the suspect was arrested after he fled the accident scene. We especially lift up every member of the Riverdale Police Department and countless other officers as they love and support the family of their injured brother and each other at this very difficult time of uncertainty. May they be comforted with Your words as follow, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Grant these law enforcement officers Your amazing grace to carry them through difficult days ahead. And if this injured officer does not know Your love, may You supernaturally speak to his heart and mind and reveal to him that, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” May many law enforcement officers be drawn unto Your side Lord. May You heal this inured peacemaker in any way that will bring Glory to Your Name. May You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to be a tremendous support to any in need and pray according to Your word as follows, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” May many be drawn to the Love of Your Son in whom we can cast all of our cares upon. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, Amen.
