Our Merciful Lord, our hearts are broken as we come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to lift up the men and women of the Nogales Police Department into Your Arms of love as they are grieving at the tragic loss of Officer Jeremy Brinton. As we know the hearts of many within the Nogales Police Department are heartbroken, may Your Holy Spirit indwell their hearts and minds and bring them peace in the middle of this storm. May You raise up Godly officers and chaplains to share Your amazing love and compassion with those in need. May Your love, grace, peace, wisdom and comfort especially settle upon the family of Officer Brinton as they love and support them through this difficult time of loss. May the family intimately know Your peace that passes all understanding. May Your sweet Presence be at their side for You said You will never leave us nor forsake us for Your word says to cast all their cares on You for You care for them. As the law enforcement community and family members walk through this dark valley, may they rest in Your Shadow at all times and may they bask in Your comfort and Presence as You carry them through his very difficult time of loss. May You use this tragedy to draw many law enforcement officers, friends and family members unto Your side where they may come to know Your love in a real and personal way. And as the Nogales Police Department must now prepare to say a final farewell to Officer Brinton, may You raise up Godly officers, chaplains and friends to share the love of Jesus Christ with those so deeply hurting. May you take this tragedy and bring about good to others. Lastly, as many will be attending the final farewell service in the coming weeks, may You open the hearts of many law enforcement officers and grant them an opportunity to receive You, Jesus, as their Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen
