Our Gracious Lord, we are so very thankful to You Lord for Your hands of protection to have been upon Officer Jason Rhodes and an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.  As the news reports indicate both are being treated at local hospitals, we seek Your wisdom and grace to be upon the medical staff treating these peace officers.  May they be filled with supernatural insight to be able to render the correct treatment and restore them to full health.  Lord, as we know traumatic incidents like these will affect not only these injured peacemakers, but their co-workers and family members as well, we therefore come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to seek Your love, grace, peace, mercy and comfort to settle upon their hearts and minds.  Your word says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  So Lord, may You use these life-threatening incidents to draw many ever so close to Your Side.  And if any law enforcement officers who were involved in either of these incidents might be struggling in his heart and spirit, may he know Your Word says to, “Cast all our cares on You for You care for us.”  So Lord, may Your grace and comfort be upon the many law enforcement officers and family members in Oklahoma and Houston.  May many be drawn to Your Son in whom there is peace, grace, love and forgiveness, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
