O’ Lord, We say “Enough!”  The law enforcement community across America and the world seek Your mercy, grace and power to stop these outright attacks on Your servants.  We come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to thank You ever so much, Lord, for protecting the life of Miami Gardens Police Officer David Starling who was heinously ambushed.  As the news reports he is in good condition, we ask You to continue to grant the doctor’s wisdom to be certain all of his injuries were identified and properly treated.  As we know this can be emotionally traumatizing to Officer Starling, we ask You to pour out Your amazing grace, love, peace, mercy and comfort upon his heart, mind and spirit.  May he intimately sense Your Presence in his heart as Your Holy Spirit carries him through this difficult time.  We also seek Your grace and love to comfort Officer Starlings family as they surround him at this moment.  As we know this incident can emotionally traumatize Officer Starling and many of his co-workers, we ask You to encourage and strengthen them and use this near-tragedy to draw many unto the love of Your Son.  We are also so thankful the suspect was swiftly captured.  May Your Holy Spirit speak to the heart of this suspect and may he also come to receive Your Son as Savior and Lord.  May anyone struggling emotionally or spiritually know Your word says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”  May many officers and family members be comforted by Your Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
