Our Merciful Lord, Your words tells us that,..”if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  Yes, O’ Lord, we come with earnest and broken hearts into Your Presence as we pray for Chief Chad King who was shot multiple times performing his job as one of Your peacemakers in Arkansas.  As the news reports indicate he is going to survive, we ask You to pour out Your awesome power and grace upon his mind, body and spirit as he is being treated at a hospital.  May You supernaturally empower the doctor’s and medical staff with wisdom to properly diagnose and treat his wounds to bring about a full recovery.  May Your grace—Your amazing grace descend upon Chief King’s heart and mind as a reels from this near death encounter as he was forced to fire his weapon to save his life.  May Your peace that passes all comprehension especially settle upon his wife and family as they support him at this very difficult time.  We are ever so thankful to You Lord for sparing his life and the multiple other law enforcement officers injured/wounded over the past several weeks.  Lord, we ask You to supernaturally surround law enforcement officers across America at all times.  May You instill Your Presence and Your survival instincts in the hearts of every officer at all times.  May You remind them to always use sound tactics and safety procedures.  May Chief King know that You Love him and may he sense Your sweet comfort in his heart and mind.  In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
