Praying for a wounded Berkeley County (SC) Sheriff’s Deputy

Our Gracious Lord, these past several weeks seem to have been very tough on Your peacemakers across America as exemplified by another attack on a deputy in South Carolina. We are ever so grateful to You Lord, for Your hands of protection to have been upon this deputy to include many others this past week. Your Grace and Mercy are amazing, Lord, and we are so very grateful to You. We come into Your Presence Lord to lift up this wounded Berkeley County Sheriff’s Deputy before Your Throne of Grace and ask for Your blessings and comfort to touch her heart and mind as she recovers from this near death experience. As we do not know the extent of his injuries, although news reports indicate she was in surgery, we ask You to guide the doctors and grant them wisdom to treat and restore this deputy to full health. May You grant the investigators wisdom to piece together all of the details surrounding this incident as it is reported the suspect took his own life. May your grace and mercy touch the men and women of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department and hold them ever so closely to Your side where there is amazing grace and love. May Your peace and everlasting comfort touch the family of this wounded deputy and draw them close to You in the bonds of love. May Your amazing grace touch the hearts of minds of all deputies involved and preserve them in Your arms of love. And Lord, as we know that you supply all of our needs according to your riches and glory, may You use these attacks upon Your servants to draw many men, women and children unto the Love of Your Son in who there is forgiveness of sins and everlasting life, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
