Our Father in Heaven, We come into Your presence to lift up Officer David Ortiz who suffered life-threatening injuries in this multi-vehicle collision.  We are thankful to You Lord for sparing his life and ask You to grant the medical professionals wisdom and insight to properly diagnose and treat his injuries and restore him to complete health.  May You also be with the many other officers and first responders who were at the scene and uphold and encourage them with Your grace and mercy.  May Your peace especially extend to Ofc. Ortiz’ family as they at the hospital supporting and rallying around him.  Lord, we want to especially lift every motorcycle officer across America into Your presence as they are often the most vulnerable and susceptible to injury and danger. May Your angels surround every motor officer and protect them in every aspect of their jobs.  Lord, we also lift up the men and women of the El Paso Police Department and especially those co-workers who are close with this injured officer and ask for Your amazing grace to sweetly descend upon them as they support the family and each other at this very emotional time.    May every officer, friend and family member sense Your Presence and Strength at this emotional time as You carry them through this difficult time.  May they know You will always be their refuge and strength and that they can always call upon You for You intimately care for them.  And if this injured officer does not know You in a real and personal way, may You lead other Godly officers, chaplains or Christian friends to share Your love with him.  Lord, we ask You to use this incident to bring many to a saving knowledge of Your Son.  May many come to know just how much You love them through this incident, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
