Our Father in Heaven, We come before You, our Wonderful Savior and Lord, to seek Your mercy and comfort for the men and women of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as they mourn the death of Constable Sarah Beckett from this on-duty collision.  Because you are Wonderful, Counselor, Everlasting Father and our Prince of Peace, may your love be revealed to them so they may rest in your gracious arms of love as You carry them through this difficult time of loss. We especially seek Your grace and mercy to embrace the family of Constable Sarah Beckett as they are grieving and mourning at this tragic loss and may the comfort of the Holy Spirit settle upon Constable Beckett’s friends and co-workers as they, too, mourn this tragic loss.  And as the family and co-workers must now make preparations for the final farewell services, may your presence be made known to all and may the name of Jesus be glorified and magnified.  May your Holy Spirit speak to many who do not know you and may many have an opportunity to know Your love and forgiveness in a real and personal way.  May your amazing grace sustain the entire Royal Canadian Mounted Police Agency and Constable Beckett’s family with your peace for we know You are the Author and Finisher of our Faith.  This we ask in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
