Praying for two wounded Fremont (CA) Police Officers

Our Gracious Lord, We come into Your Presence Lord to lift up these two Fremont Police Officers who were wounded/injured in the line of duty.  As we do not know the extent of their injuries/wounds, we ask that Your mercy and grace to be upon these officers as they are being treated at a hospital.  May You grant the doctors wisdom to effectively diagnose and treat their injuries and restore them to full health.  May Your grace, love, peace, comfort and mercies also touch these wounded officers as they cope with these near death encounters.  As we know their families are at their side supporting and loving them, may they be forever drawn to Your side where there is endless mercy and peace.  May Your peace continue to settle upon their hearts and minds and draw them unto Your side.  May You be with the many other police officers who are involved in the search for the suspects.  May you grant the investigators wisdom and insight to be able to track and locate the suspects so they may be taken into custody without further harm.  May Your Holy Spirit settle upon the suspects and prevent them from injuring any other officers or citizens.  May You cause the suspects to be confused and cause them to peacefully surrender.   O’ Lord, we ask You to surround every officer involved in this search with Your Arms of Protection.  May Your grace also touch the many paramedics and medical personnel who were present and rendered aid.   As we know incidents like this can cause an officer to experience emotional trauma both short-term and long-term, may Your peace that passes all understanding settle upon their hearts and minds and sustain them with Your presence.  Lord, we ask You to pour out Your grace and mercy upon the entire Fremont Police Department as they reel from this attack on their colleagues.  And if any officer is struggling mentally or spiritually through this ordeal, may you raise up Godly officers, chaplains or others to share the love of Your Son in whom there is peace and forgiveness.  May many have an opportunity to come to know how much You truly love them, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
