Our Gracious Lord, we join with the law enforcement community in Paris in mourning the heinous murder of Police Commander Jean-Baptiste Salvaing and his wife committed in the name of Islamic terrorism. As we know our French law enforcement comrades are faced with an ever daunting task as a result of another terrorist attack on another co-worker, we come boldly into Your Presence, Lord, to lift every French law enforcement officer before Your Throne of Grace.  As the so of this commander had to witness this horrific crime, may Your amazing grace be made real to this child.  Pour out Your grace upon the family members who are grieving ever so greatly.  May You start to awaken the hearts of many in France to seek Your Son in who there is love, grace, peace, mercy and justice.  May Your Protecting Hand continue to be upon every law enforcement officer on-duty and off-duty.  May You grant the investigators wisdom to investigate this heinous crime and to locate and take into custody anyone else responsible for this homicidal attack.  And as there are countless family members of these French law enforcement officers who are concerned for their loved ones safety, may You surround them with Your Angels and protect them from all harm and danger.  May You grant every law enforcement officer with supernatural wisdom and insight to be able to discern the presence of evil.  May You empower the leaders of France with Godly Wisdom to make the right decisions for their country.  Most importantly, Lord, may Your Holy Spirit draw many law enforcement officers ever so close to Your Side.  May You place a thirst in the hearts of countless law enforcement officers with a desire to know your Son Personally.  May they know that by inviting and receiving Jesus into their hearts for the forgiveness of sins, that they may have eternal life should they lose their own life in the line of duty.   May every law enforcement officer in France know Your Words says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  May they know Your Word also says, “Come near to God and he will come near to you.”  In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
