O’ God, how much more pain must peacemakers across America endure these murderous attacks upon Your servants.  We, again, come boldly before Your Throne of Grace.  Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for your name’s sake.  Hear our groans for mercy and grace as we lift up the men and women of the Berrien County Sheriff's Dept. into Your Mighty Arms as they are in shock and mourning at this heinous attack upon these servants.  We first want to lift this wounded deputy and civilians who were wounded into Your Hands.  May You continue to place the medical specialists in their path and may they have wisdom to render the correct treatment to bring about a full recovery.  May You use this horrific incident as a reminder to law enforcement officers across America to be ever vigilant whenever they deal with handcuffed suspects and others in custody.  May You grant the investigators wisdom to be able to investigate this murderous act and to use this as a training aid for law enforcement officers.  As two families are just coming to grips in this tragic loss of their loved ones, may your mercy come quickly to meet them, for we know they are in desperate need of Your grace, presence and comfort.  As we know their hearts are broken, we know You are the only One who can mend the brokenhearted.  We also lift up Berrien County Sheriff's Dept. before Your Throne of Grace in order to carry them through some difficult days ahead.  Hear the groans and prayers of Your Peacemakers across America.  Place Your hands of Mercy upon every law enforcement officer.  May You remind them to remember their training and to always be vigilant.  And as the Berrien County Sheriff's Dept. must now make preparations to say farewell to these fallen comrades, we ask You to use this as a time to draw many law enforcement officers and family members unto the Cross of Christ in whom there is everlasting life for, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life",  In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
