Our God of Mercy, we need Your Amazing grace and mercy to settle upon a wounded Eastman Police Officer right now who was wounded in the line of duty.  As none of the news reports seem to know his condition or status, we know You do.  We therefore come boldly before Your Throne of Grace to seek Your Presence and healing power to be upon Your wounded servant.  May You have already lined up the correct medical specialists in order to quickly diagnose and treat his wound(s).  We ask for Your Holy Spirit to grant every doctor and medical staff member with wisdom in order to render the correct medical treatment and allow for a full recovery.  As the details and circumstances surrounding this shooting are vague, we place our trust un You, Lord, to be our Rock, Fortress and Deliver at all times.  May You supernaturally empower the law enforcement officers at that scene where the shooting occurred and pour our Your Grace and Mercies upon them as they endure this emotional time.  May Your words resonate in the hearts of many law enforcement officers as follows:  “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”; “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.” And, “Let your steadfast love comfort me according to your promise to your servant.”  Lord, we ask You to settle Your peace that passes all understanding upon the family of Your wounded peacemaker and may your strength prevail as You carry them through this time of uncertainty.  Pour our Your love, grace, mercy, peace and comfort upon the men and women of the Eastman Police Department and allied agencies as they investigate this attack on Your servant.  May You use this to draw many officers and family members ever so close to the love of Your Son in whom there is forgiveness of sins and everlasting life, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
