Our Gracious Lord, as the lives of three Phoenix Police Officers were nearly taken today, we come with extremely grateful hearts before Your Throne of Grace to thank You for sparing the lives of these peace officers.  So Lord, we draw near to You, the Author and Finisher of our Faith, to bring these injured officers into Your presence.  O’ Lord, from the news reports, we know these officer are in serious but stable condition and therefore seek Your healing power to continue be upon their entire bodies.  May You continue to provide the correct doctors and specialists needed to be able to properly and effectively diagnose and treat their injuries.  May Your mercies and amazing grace settle upon the heart, mind and spirit of each officer and draw them close to Your Side for comfort.  May Your will be done and may they be restored to full health in due time and be allowed to return to their jobs as a peacemaker.  May Your grace and comfort touch the hearts and minds of the men and women of the Phoenix Police Department as we know many may have been deeply and emotionally affected from seeing several of their own injured in the line of duty.  As we know that You can take a near-death encounter like this and bring about good for we know Your ways are not our ways, we ask You, Lord, to use this to draw many officers, friends and family members ever so close to Your side for comfort and peace.  May You use this incident to cause many to call out to You for mercy and grace.   And if any officer does not know Your peace that passes all understanding, may You provide a time and place for someone to tell them about the Love of Your Son in whom there is forgiveness and everlasting life.  May many others also find solace in receiving Your Son into their hearts.  Continue to touch the hearts and souls of many Phoenix officers, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
