Our Gracious Lord,  We come in great earnest before Your Throne of grace to lift up two wounded Forth Worth peacemakers of which one is in critical condition.  O God, our hearts go out to the entire Fort Worth Police Department as they endure this senseless assault on two of their co-workers.  May Your mercies and healing touch be upon both of these officers.  May You make available the correct medical professionals at the hospital and bestow upon them supernatural wisdom and insight to provide to most effective treatment to bring about a full recovery and healing to this critically wounded officer.  May Your mercies and amazing grace settle upon both officers and may Your peace be made ever so real in their hearts and minds because of Your love and grace.  May Your arms of love surround the families of both officers as they are at the hospital supporting them at this time of chaos and uncertainty.  May You be a Shield around them be the lifter of their hearts and minds.  May Your hands of protection be with the many other law enforcement officers who have surrounded the shooting scene and grant them supernatural wisdom to know how to proceed.  Surround every law enforcement officer with Your Protecting Arms and keep them all safe from any harm or danger.  May You cause the suspect to peaceably surrender.  And if the suspect might be planning to harm any more of Your servants, may You also cause his mind to be confused.  May You cause any weapons he might try to use to malfunction.  May You prevent any officer from enduring any long-term emotional trauma caused by this incident.  May You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be available to pray for and support their co-workers at this difficult time.  May many officers, family members, friends and co-workers be drawn to Your Son in whom there is eternal life.  If any officer does not know Your love and forgiveness, may they know that now is the acceptable time, that now is the day of salvation.  May Many receive You as their Savior and Lord. May the words of Isaiah be real in their hearts, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.”  Encamp Your Messengers--Your Angels--around those officers at that scene and provide them with supernatural protection. May Your grace continue to touch both wounded officers and bring about a full healing.  May Your Holy Spirit speak to the hearts of both wounded officers and if they do not know You personally, may You lead someone to tell them of Your love.  In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
