Our Gracious Lord Jesus, It is because of Your grace and mercy upon the citizens of New York and New Jersey that countless lives were spared.  It is for this very reason, Lord, that we come with deep hearts of gratitude to thank You for sparing the lives of these two Linden Police Officers in their confrontation with an armed terrorist.  The people of America thank You, Lord, and acknowledged that only You are the One who can save us from destruction.  So Lord, we seek Your grace to descend upon these two officers and ask You to give the medical staff wisdom as both officers are being treated for their wounds/injuries.  May they be restored to full health.  And as this heinous crime is still unfolding and being investigated, may you give every law enforcement investigator with the NYPD, FBI and countless other agencies supernatural wisdom to uncover the smallest details and bring those responsible to justice.  May You use this wake up every American citizen at this serious threat that is upon us all.  May many draw close to You and may You hear our cries and pleas for mercy.  May You touch these wounded officers with Your love, grace, peace, mercy and comfort.  And as we know their families have been affected, too, may Your love and grace touch them, too.  Lord, we lift up every man and woman in the Muslim faith and ask for Your Holy Spirit to draw them unto the love of Your Son in whom there is forgiveness and everlasting life.  We even seek Your love to touch this terrorism suspect and may he come to know Your love and forgiveness, too.  Lord, continue to guide the New York and New Jersey law enforcement investigators.  Grant them wisdom to locate all suspects involved and may You lead them to anyone or anything else that might be cause injury to any others for Your word says, “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.”  Lord, remove the fear from any law enforcement officer and fill them with Your Strength and grace.  May they know that, “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.”  O’ Lord, may You be a Rock, Fortress and Deliver to every peace officer in America, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
