Our Gracious Lord, our hearts and spirits are with these four injured North Carolina Corrections officers as they are being treated at a local hospital.  We come boldly into Your Presence, O’ Lord, to seek Your amazing grace and healing power to descend upon these four servants.  As the news reports one may have life-threatening injuries, may You pour out an endless supply of Your grace, love, peace, mercy and comfort upon each of these officers as they are being treated.  May You instill supernatural wisdom upon every doctor and nurse and may You guide their minds and hands in everything they do.  May each of these officers know that they can cast all of their cares upon You because we know You care for them.  May Your Words resonate in their hearts as follows: “…When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you.  When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD, your God…”  Lord, as we know this attack has affected many other co-workers, we therefore seek your Amazing Grace and comfort to touch them and may they know that through this incident, that You are the Everlasting God—our King of kings and Lord of lords.  May Your presence and comfort especially settle upon the four families that have been so deeply affected from this incident.  May they intimately know that they can call upon You and You will answer their pleas.  O’ Lord, pour out an extra measure of grace upon the men and women of the North Carolina Department of Corrections and upon every other corrections officer in America and abroad for these men and women are constantly in the enemy’s territory.  May You use this near-tragedy to drawn hundreds of officers to Jesus and may many invite Him into their hearts and receive everlasting life, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
