An Urgent Prayer for Every Law Enforcement Officer and Their Families

Our God in Heaven, law enforcement officers across America are under satanic attack at every turn.  Whenever they perform their God-given tasks as law enforcement officers to protect and serve the citizens of their communities, there is a supernatural enemy waiting to pounce on Your peacemakers and cause continued disruption.  And so, Our God, we need Your divine intervention more than ever.  We therefore come with great boldness before Your Throne of Grace to pour out our hearts to You on behalf of every law enforcement officer.  Our Merciful Lord, we ask You to touch the hearts and minds of every law enforcement officer right now by the power of Your Holy Spirit and cause each of them to examine their hearts.  As any law enforcement officer could be injured or killed in the line of duty (and even off-duty), we pray that Your Presence would be made real in their hearts.  As we know there are countless law enforcement officers who may have (or had) some knowledge about You and we know there are others who have strayed greatly from following You, we ask You to reveal Your love and forgiveness—even now—to the those many hundreds of thousands of law enforcement officers and draw them ever so close to Your Side.  As evidenced by the increasing attacks upon this last line of defense for their community, may every law enforcement officer be drawn to Your Son, Jesus, in whom there is the forgiveness of sin and everlasting life.  May you reveal and expose to each of them their sins of greed, lust, anger, hate, bitterness, rage, prejudice, adultery, fornication, drunkenness, sorcery, immorality, idolatry and jealousy.  May You hear our prayer right now O’ God and begin a brand new work in the hearts of hundreds of thousands of law enforcement officers.  May You grant them supernatural physical, mental and spiritual strength to be the best cop.  May You supernaturally protect every law enforcement officer in America and across the world to perform their Godly tasks as peacemakers.    May they be filled with Your Holy Spirit at all times on-duty and when at home with their families, may they be the Godly leader and draw their families close to Your Side.  Your word says, “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.”  O’ God, as America is on the verge of even greater internal strife and division among its people, we ask You to begin to touch the hearts and minds of every American law enforcement officer and unite them in the bonds of Love because of what Your Son, Jesus, did for each of us because of his sacrifice upon the cross.  May every law enforcement officer know Your word says, “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his [Jesus’] name, he gave the right to become children of God.” And, “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”  Lord, may You cause this urgent prayer to be multiplied over and over upon the hearts of every law enforcement officer and their families.  May anyone who reads this prayer sense an urgency to repent of their sins and receive Your Son.  In doing so, may they intimately know they will—in turn—gain everlasting life that if they should die in the line of duty, they would be immediately ushered into Your Presence.  May every officer and their families know You said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”…” For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Finally Lord, may every law enforcment officer know Your Word says, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." and, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles." So Lord, may the power of Your Word touch many hearts as we offer this urgent prayer before Your Throne of Grace, this we ask in the wonderful name of Jesus—Our Rock, Fortress and Deliver—our King of kings, Amen.
