Our Father in Heaven, our hearts are overwhelmed with grief as we again come into Your presence due to the murder of yet another of Your servants.  We therefore come humbly before Your Throne of grace to lift up the men and women of the St. Louis County Police Department as we seek for Your wisdom and mercies to be upon them as they are cope with the sudden and tragic loss of Officer Blake Snyder.  Lord, may every law enforcement officer be reminded from this tragedy that no matter where they work, may they remain ever vigilant at all times.  Lord, we ask for Your endless mercies and grace to descend upon the entire law enforcement community who is in deep mourning from this loss.  May Your peace settle upon those deeply grieving and draw them ever so close to Your heart.  May Your endless mercies and wonderful grace especially touch the family members of Officer Snyder as we know that have been so deeply affected at this tragic loss.  May your grace extend to the entire St. Louis County Police Department.  May Your supernatural presence be made known in their hearts and souls.  May You, Lord, grant the investigators insight and wisdom to determine the facts of this senseless loss.  May You bring about good through this difficult situation.  May this continue to be a reminder to law enforcement officers across the U.S. and abroad to always be aware of their surroundings and to remember their training.  And if any officer or family member is struggling emotionally or spiritually, may they be drawn ever so close to Your side.  May every law enforcement officer intimately know that blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called sons of God.  May Your peace and amazing grace be truly evident to every law enforcement officer and family member.  May You comfort those officers who are mourning even as they must remain professional at this most difficult time.  May the families who just suffered this loss be comforted by the presence of Your Holy Spirit.  May You bring good through this tragedy.  May many know Your Word says that that blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
