Our Heavenly Father, We come before your loving and wonderful Throne of Grace to lift up this wounded Brookville Police officer into Your healing hands.  As the news reports indicate he is currently in surgery at a hospital, we ask that You would give the doctors and specialists wisdom to be able to effectively treat his wounds and completely restore him to full health.  As the news reports indicate several other Brookville officers were forced to fire their weapons in which a suspect died, we ask you use this life-threatening incident as an opportunity to draw many Brookville Police Officers close to Your side where there is endless mercy and grace.  As we know this investigation is still very active, we ask You to grant the investigators wisdom and insight to be able to gather all of the facts and details surrounding this deadly incident.  We also ask for Your loving Holy Spirit to settle upon the hearts and minds of every Brookville Officer where that can know You will always be their Rock, Fortress and Deliverer.  We know that whenever officers are involved in traumatic incidents like this, they will be filled with a variety of emotions.  We therefore seek Your amazing grace to touch them and sustain their hearts and spirits as you carry them through this traumatic ordeal.  May Your peace that passes all understanding settle on them to know that You will be an Ever-Present Help in time of trouble.  May Your grace, peace, mercy and everlasting comfort especially touch the family of this wounded officer and may they be comforted by Your sweet presence.  May Your Holy Spirit continue to draw every Brookville Officer ever so close to Your side and may they be given opportunities to intimately know the eternal life which can only be found on Your Son.  Continue to pour out Your healing touch upon Your wounded servant, in the name of Jesus  Christ we pray, Amen.
