Our Father in Heaven, We again earnestly come before You Lord to lift up Louisa County Sheriff’s Deputy D.J. Hart who was seriously injured after he was struck by a car.  As the news reports indicate he is in serious condition at a local hospital, we ask for Your supernatural touch to be upon his heart, mind and body.  May You grant all of the medical doctors with supernatural wisdom to be able to identify his injuries and apply the correct treatment to restore him to full health.  As we know many of this officer’s co-workers and friends are at his side, we know this must be very emotionally difficult for them and therefore ask for Your amazing grace to touch their hearts and minds as You carry them through this time of uncertainty.  Continue to grant the medical doctors wisdom and insight to effectively diagnose and treat his injuries.  May your Holy Spirit settle upon Deputy Hart’s mind and body and may Your grace and peace sustain him.  May Your peace, comfort, mercy and love especially touch his family as they support him at this difficult time.  Most importantly, may Your peace that passes all understanding gently settle upon the members of the entire Louisa County Sheriff’s Department and especially those co-workers who were at this collision scene.  May Your peace gently settle upon their mind and spirit and may they be drawn close to You for comfort.  May You grant the investigators wisdom and insight as they investigate this collision.  And if any officers or family members might be struggling emotionally or spiritually at this time, may Your Holy Spirit sweetly settle upon them and draw them ever so close to Your side.  May every deputy and family member know Your word says, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”  May Your blessings and touch continue to be upon Deputy Hart and draw him close to Your heart.  Lord, we ask You to raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be Light to those in need.  May many be drawn to the love and peace found in Your Son.  May Your grace carry many through this emotional and uncertain time.  This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
