Praying for the Peach County (GA) Sheriff’s Dept in the on-duty murder of Deputy Patrick Sondron and for critically wounded Deputy Daryl Smallwood
Our Father in Heaven, we seek Your unfailing love and mercies upon the men and women of the Peach County Sheriff’s Department.  Lord, our hearts are numb with grief and sorrow at this tragic loss of Deputy Patrick Sondron.  Most importantly Lord, we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift Deputy Daryl Smallwood into Your Presence who is reported to be in critical condition.  May You continue to raise up the correct medical specialists and grant them supernatural knowledge and insight in order to properly diagnose his injuries and apply the correct treatment.  As we know this attack has hit the Georgia law enforcement community especially hard, may You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a support and help at this very emotional time.   We especially lift up the families of Deputy Sondron and Deputy Smallwood and place them into Your loving Arms.  May Your Holy Spirit be made real in everyone’s heart and sustain them through this very difficult time.  Lord, we need Your grace more than anything to be upon the entire Peach County Sheriff’s Department.  May Your unending mercies, unfailing love and peace provide supernatural strength to them at this time of uncertainty.  Lord, we also want to lift up the small army of law enforcement officers and countless paramedics, fire-fighters and other first responders who were at that scene who had to witness the tragedy upon those with whom they worked so closely.  May You encamp Your angels around them and supernaturally sustain them with Your peace, mercy and grace.  Grant the state investigators wisdom as they piece together the facts of this incident.  Finally Lord, may You continue to provide wisdom to law enforcement officers across America and the world to remember their training and always use sound tactics.  May Your Holy Spirit gently settle upon the entire Peach County Sheriff’s Department and strengthen them with Your Holy Spirit.  Touch the hearts of every member of the many law enforcement agencies assisting in this very difficult situation.  May You protect the heart, mind and spirit of every member of the Peach County Sheriff’s Department and draw them unto Your Son for strength.  May Your love reign supreme and may many law enforcement officers come to receive Your Son into their heart as their Savior and Lord.  And as they will be preparing a final farewell for Deputy Sondron, may You be magnified center stage at this service .  O’ Lord, may You raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a representative of Your Light.  May You bring about good through this difficult incident.  In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
