Our Father in Heaven, it is because of Your Amazing grace that we know You spared the lives these two Boise Police officers.  So, Lord, we first want to lift up every law enforcement officer across America right now and ask You to surround each of them with Your Protecting Hands and assign your angelic beings to countless offices according to Your will.  We, therefore, come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up two more of Your servants wounded in the line of duty, this time in Boise.  As the news reports indicate both have been and may still be at a local hospital being treated, we ask You to continue to grant the doctors with supernatural wisdom and insight to identify their wounds and render the correct treatment.  May Your Holy Spirit settle upon the hearts of and minds of both officers and draw them unto Your Side where they may receive Your Peace that passes all understanding—that peace only You can provide.  And as the families of both officers have been so deeply affected at this near tragedy and are at the sides of their loved ones, may Your grace and Your Presence sustain the through this very emotional time.  As we know officers had to use deadly force in which the suspect lost his life, may Your peace and comfort settle upon these servant-peacemakers and draw them unto Your Side.  May You grant the investigators wisdom and insight as they gather the fact surrounding this deadly encounter.  Lord, we seek Your Presence and Protection from this day forward upon every law enforcement officer across America.  May countless officers who do not know Your Love, know Your word says, “Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest.”  May every officer in American know Your word says, “…if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.”  Pour out Your continued blessings upon these two wounded servants and every law enforcement officer in America,  in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
