Within the LAW ENFORCEMENT community as a whole, there are multiple different types of positions, assignments, classifications, jobs and tasks that can accomplish the demands of the job. But did you know there are similar tasks, assignments or GIFTS given to Christians to accomplish God's Will?
- A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice...a message of special knowledge... great faith to another...the gift of healing...miracles...prophesy... the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit....the ability to speak in unknown languages...the ability to interpret what is being said. (1 Corinthians 12:7-10 NLT)
- But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom...the word of knowledge... faith... healings... miracles...prophecy... discerning of spirits...different kinds of tongues...interpretation of tongues. (Romans 12:7-10 NKJV)
- And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers...(Ephesians 4:11 NKJV)
- God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. (1Peter 4:10-11 NLT)
