Praying for President Trump in his attempted assassination and of the murder of an audience member

Our Merciful and Gracious Lord, we come in deep humility and with hurting hearts before Your Throne of Grace as we lift up President Trump who nearly lost his life in this attempt to assassinate him. O’ God, we thank you that You are Wonderful, that You are our Counselor, our Mighty God, our Everlasting Father, and our Prince of Peace. We thank You, Lord, for sparing the life of Your servant, President Donald J. Trump. First, Lord, we want to lift up the family of the audience attendee whose life was lost in this incident. May You supernaturally surround those grieving ever so greatly at this senseless loss. And Lord, as Secret Service agents were forced to neutralize the suspect to save lives, we, in the law enforcement community, thank you, Lord, for the privilege that those peacemakers were used as Your instruments of righteousness to serve every person in America. Lord, may You use this attack on President Trump to awaken Christians across America to pray every day for President Trump, his family and all those in service to our country—regardless of varying affiliations. May You especially surround President Trump, his wife, children and entire family with Your protecting arms and Your angels. As President Trump is seeking justice, loving mercy and walking humbly by Your side, may You use him as just one of Your instruments to begin to restore righteousness to America. So, Lord, we come to ask Your blessings and mercy President Trump, President Biden, and every senator, assemblyman, and political leader across America. We ask for Your hands of love to grip us; Your arms of strength to embrace us; Your legs of might to uphold us; Your eyes of kindness to watch us; and Your mind of infinite wisdom to guide us. More than anything, Lord, may You use this as an opportunity to point many senators, assemblymen, and political leaders across America unto the love of Your son, Jesus, and may many receive You as Savior and Lord. May you give every Christian in American government increased boldness to share Your love with their co-workers. As Your word says the angels rejoice in heaven whenever one person repents, may You grant opportunities for many to receive Jesus Christ into their hearts, to be their Savior and Lord, and receive eternal life. May You be with the wives, husbands, children, brothers, sisters, parents, friends, fiancés, boyfriends, or girlfriends of every member in government. May You be with the heart, spirit, soul, and mind of every law enforcement officer who was involved in that massive investigation and forever protect them from any future emotional, mental or spiritual trauma. May they know, without a doubt, You will never leave them nor forsake them, for You will always be their Shield and their Strong Tower against all enemies. This we ask in the precious and glorious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
