Cop's Trust

In the midst of some life/death situations, a law enforcement officer may have to place their complete trust in a co-worker to survive. That said, how much more should we place our total trust in the Living God?  Check out what the Bible says:

  • Fear of man is a dangerous trap, but to trust in God means safety. Proverbs 29:25 (TLB)
  • “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  Hebrews 13:5, Deuteronomy 31:6, Joshua 1:5 (NKJV)
  • Be still, and know that I am God…   Psalms 46:10a (NKJV)
  • But you, O LORD, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. Psalms 3:3(NLT)
  • Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6(NLT)
  • And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.  Romans 8:28-29(NKJV)
  • God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear… Psalms 46:1-2(NKJV)
  • The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. Psalms 18:2-3(NKJV)
  • But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. I praise God for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid?  What can mere mortals do to me? Psalms 56:3-4(NLT)
  • But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. Psalms 13:5(NLT)
