Father God,
I thank You, Lord, for allowing us to come before You and present our requests to you. Thank you for blessing us with a profession that gives us the opportunity to impact others daily. Thank you for allowing us as law enforcement officers to be a light for You in the darkest places of society. I pray that we would continually practice virtues that Jesus demonstrated, including compassion, fairness, honesty and integrity. Watch over and protect us, Father, not only from the inherent physical danger, but from the mental and emotional toll that comes from the words, images, and situations we are exposed to. I pray for our loved ones at home, that You would be their comfort and support when we are unable. Bless us and make us a blessing to the community we serve. In Jesus' name, Amen.
