O’ Lord, today has been a tough day for law enforcement officers in different parts of our nation.  We, therefore, come in great earnest before Your Throne of Grace to first lift up Houston (TX) Police Officer Ronnie Cortez who suffered multiple gunshot wounds.   O’ God, we ask You, right now, to continue to fill the medical doctors with supernatural wisdom to correctly identify his wounds and apply the correct treatment to bring about a full recovery.  May You provide the correct specialists who are familiar with his wounds and use techniques that You’ve provided to save his life.  We, next, lift up Officer Munoz and Sgt. Stelter into Your arms of love.  May You also continue to touch both of Your wounded servants and restore them to full health.  Your word says, “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”  So Lord, May You continue to supernaturally direct all of the activities of all involved in the healing of Your peacemakers.  And as a search is underway in Houston for additional suspects, may You surround every officer with Your Arms of Protection.  Grant them wisdom to search the correct locations and safely apprehend them.  And if these suspects try to use their weapons, may you cause them to malfunction.  May You confuse their minds and cause them to surrender.  May Your love, grace, peace, mercy, presence and comfort especially be with the families of each of these peacemakers.  May they know Your Word says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”  May You surround every member of the Houston Police and Orange County Sheriff’s Department with Your arms of love.  May each member know that You will Never leave them nor forsake them.  As many are in deep distress at this moment, grant them the Peace of Your Holy Spirit to carry them through these touch days ahead.  May you raise up chaplains and Godly officers to share the love of Your Son in whom anyone can call upon in their time of need.  May Your supernatural power be made real in the hearts of many across Texas, Florida and all of America.  May You preserve the hearts of many officers and deputies in Your Love and may many come to know Your Son and His amazing love, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
