Praying for critically injured Oklahoma Highway Patrol Lt. Heath Meyer struck by a vehicle

Our Father in Heaven, we need Your Healing Touch O’ Lord, as we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up Lt. Heath Meyer who was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle during a pursuit. As the news reports indicate he is being treated at a local hospital, we seek Your abundant mercies and healing power to be upon him. May You continue to place the correct medical specialists in his path to be able to diagnose his many injuries. May You also fill them with wisdom to apply the correct treatment and spare his life. We ask You, O’ God, to continue to pour out Your amazing grace upon Lt. Heath Meyer and draw him ever so close to Your Side. May he intimately and divinely sense Your Presence as he is in obvious pain and likely sedated. May Your peace that passes all understanding settle upon his heart and mind. May Your grace and mercy especially comfort his family who are at his side. As we know this has affected many co-workers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, we ask You to pour out Your peace, comfort and grace upon them and draw them ever so close to Your side. May they intimately sense Your Presence carrying them through this time of uncertainty. May You grant the investigators wisdom to be able to gather all of the facts and evidence surrounding this incident. As we know many first responders may have also been emotionally affected, we also seek Your comfort to be upon them as well. May any officer who has been deeply affected emotionally or spiritually know they whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. May every member of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol know Your Word says, You will never leave us nor forsake us. Pour out Your love and grace upon them. If Lt. Meyer does not know Your love and forgiveness, may you raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a light to them and point those in need unto the love and forgiveness of Your Son. May You use this near tragedy to draw many unto Your Side for comfort and peace, this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
