Our Loving Father, we come into Your Presence O’ Lord, to lift up seriously injured Trooper Brian Mull who was fell from a bridge while chasing a suspect.  As the news reports indicate he is in serious condition with broken bones, we know he is in great pain, Lord, and therefore ask for Your merciful touch to be upon his entire body, mind and soul.  We come boldly before Your Throne of grace on his behalf and ask that You would send the right doctors and medical staff to properly diagnose all of his injuries and render the appropriate treatment and bring about a full recovery.  May Your grace, love, peace and mercy settle upon the heart and mind of Trooper Mull and may he be reassured that You are in control.  Sustain him with Your Arms of loving comfort.  May Your mercies also extend to his family and co-workers who are obviously rallying around to support him at this very emotional time.   May Your grace and peace touch every law enforcement officer who was involved in that incident.  May You use this near-death as a time to draw many Ohio Highway Patrol Troopers ever so close to Your side.  And if this injured trooper or any other law enforcement officers do not personally know Your love and grace, may Your Holy Spirit settle upon their hearts and may they be drawn unto Your Son, Jesus, in whom there is unending love and forgiveness of sins.   May Your mercies also touch the suspect as he is also being treated for his injuries.  May even the suspect come to also receive You as Savior and Lord.  Finally, may every trooper with the Ohio Highway Patrol be encouraged by Your words as follows, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go”; in the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
