Praying for critically injured Ashwaubenon (WI) Public Safety Officer Brian Murphy struck by a drunk driver

Our Merciful Lord Jesus, we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up another one of Your servants injured in the line of duty, Officer Brian Murphy, who was critically injured after being struck by a drunk driver. May Your Presence be with Officer Murphy as he has already undergone two surgeries. May You continue to grant the doctors and medical professionals wisdom and insight to be able to diagnose and treat his many injuries and to provide for a full recovery. May Your amazing grace also touch the many other officers who were at that scene who had to endure the sight of watching a co-worker suffer these injuries in the line of duty. More than anything Lord, we are so very grateful that You spared the life of this officer, but nevertheless we foresee a long, hard recovery. May Your mercies and grace especially extend to his family and uplift them with Your arms of love and comfort as they are at his side supporting him at every moment. May You use this life-threatening incident to remind law enforcement officers in Wisconsin and abroad that their life is forever in Your hands and for their need to always be spiritually prepared. May Your peace that passes all understanding rest upon the entire Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department. May every officer and family member know that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. O’ Lord, we ask You to use this life-threatening incident to cause many to reflect upon their souls and examine their hearts. And if Officer Murphy does not know You, may Your Holy Spirit cause him to remember Your Word and be drawn ever so close to Your Son. And if any co-workers or family members do not know Your love in a real and personal way, may many be drawn unto Your side where they may personally experience Your forgiveness and receive eternal life found only in Your Son. Continue to be a Rock, Shield and Fortress around every officer, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
