Our Gracious Lord, unto You, Lord, we give You our thanks and praise in sparing the lives of two more of your peacemakers who ere both wounded during traffic stops. As the news reports neither deputy’s wounds were not serious nor life-threatening, we ask You to gently settle the presence of Your Holy Spirit upon their hearts and minds and draw them unto Your Side.  May Your grant the medical staff wisdom and insight to properly traet their wounds and allow for a full recovery. May both deputies reflect upon the fact that it was Your Grace and the prayers of many others who spared the lives of Your servants.  May both deputies intimately experience Your love, grace, peace, mercy and comfort, but most of all Your Presence right now as they both experienced these near death encounters.  We also seek Your mercy and grace to touch the countless other co-workers who were affected at this attempted murder on two of Your peacemakers.  O’ Lord, settle Your peace and comfort upon the men and women of the Amherst County Sheriff's Department and Winnebago County Sheriff's Department.  As we know the families of these two deputies are being supported by their loved ones, may You draw them close to each other and close to You in the bonds of love.  Grant the investigators with the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department wisdom to be able to track down and arrest the suspect who got away.  Protect every peacemaker with Your Supernatural Shield as they search for this suspect.  May he be swiftly apprehended without incident, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
