Our Merciful Lord, as the people of Puerto Rico are trying to cope with the aftermath of two hurricanes, we come before Your Throne of grace to lift up the men and women of the Puerto Rico Police in the tragic loss of Agent Héctor Matías-Torres and Agent Lorenzo-González who were drowned during Hurricane Maria.  As their deaths have hit the men and women of the Puerto Rico Police so very hard, may your grace and mercies especially be them and grant them your peace that transcends all understanding to settle on their hearts and minds. We especially seek Your love, grace, mercy, comfort, presence and most of all, Your peace to sweetly touch the families of these two law enforcement officers who were simply doing their jobs as peacemakers.  Lord, may Your grace and comfort extend to the men and women of the Puerto Rico Police and entire their law enforcement community and surround them with Your arms of love.  May many officers and colleagues of their fallen comrades be drawn to you, Lord, the only One who can and will provide them a peace that passes all understanding. As the Puerto Rico Police Department will be preparing to say a final farewell to these two servants, may You raise up Godly officers, pastors and others at this final farewell service to be a representative of Your Son who died on the Cross so that all may have eternal life.  May You use this tragedy to draw many unto the love of Your Son and may many come to know You, Lord, in a real and personal way, this we ask in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
