Our Father, we come before Your Throne of Grace to lift up a seriously injured Miami Beach Police Officer who was intentionally struck by a vehicle.   As the news reports indicate he is being treated at a local hospital, we seek Your abundant mercies and healing power to continue to be upon this injured officer.  May You continue to place the correct medical specialists in his path in order to be able to diagnose his injuries and may You fill them with wisdom to apply the correct treatment.  We ask You to pour out Your amazing grace upon this injured officer and draw him ever so close to Your Side.  May he intimately and divinely sense Your Presence as he is in obvious pain.  May Your peace that passes all understanding settle upon his heart and mind and may Your grace and mercy especially comfort his family.  As we know this has affected many co-workers with the Miami Beach Police Department, we ask other officers had to fire their weapons in which the suspect lost her life, we ask You to pour out Your comfort and grace upon those officers and draw them ever so close to Your side.  May You grant the investigators wisdom to be able to gather all of the facts and evidence surrounding this incident.   As we know many Miami Beach Police officers and first responders may have also been emotionally affected from this traumatic incident, we seek Your comfort to be upon them and draw them ever so close to your Side where they may know Your peace and grace.  Most importantly, may any officer who has been deeply affected emotionally or spiritually know they can cast their cares upon You because You care for them.  If this injured officer does not know Your love and forgiveness, may you raise up chaplains and other Godly officers to be a light to them and point those in need unto the love and forgiveness of Your Son.  Continue to wrap Your arms around this officers family and sustain them with Your Grace and Presence.  May You use this near tragedy to draw many unto Your Side for comfort and peace, this we ask in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
