Our Gracious Lord, we are ever so grateful to You Lord, for Your hands of protection to have been upon this Camden police officer and for sparing his life.  We are so thankful for the continued prayer of countless warriors lifting Your peacemaker-servants before the Throne of Grace.  Yes Lord, Your Grace and Mercy are so amazing and we are so very grateful to You.  We, therefore, come into Your Presence Lord to lift up this wounded Camden officer before Your Throne of Grace and ask for Your blessings and comfort to touch his heart and mind as he recovers from this near death experience.  As it is reported he suffered a leg wound, we ask You to grant the medical staff wisdom to treat and restore this officer to full health.  We are so thankful that additional officers arrived and were able to take the suspect into custody.  As the family of this wounded officer is rallying around their loved one at the hospital, may Your Presence surround them and may You pour out Your peace in their hearts and minds as they come to grips with this near-death encounter.  May your grace and mercy especially touch the men and women of the Camden Police Department and hold them ever so closely to You side where there is amazing grace, peace and love as they come to grips with the near loss of a colleague today.  May Your peace and everlasting comfort touch every Camden Police officer and especially those who were present and witnessed an officer down as we know these experiences can be very emotionally traumatic.  So Lord, may You use this near death incident to draw the entire Camden Police Department to come ever so close to You and each other in the bonds of love.  May You prevent any officer from enduring any short-term or long-term emotional trauma.  And Lord, as we know all things work together for good according to your riches and mercy, may You especially use this attacks upon Your servants to draw many law enforcement officers ever so close to the Love of Your Son in who there is forgiveness of sins and everlasting life, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
