Our Father in Heaven, We come boldly into Your Presence to lift up an injured Los Angeles Police Officer who was struck by a drunk driver.  As the news reports indicate he suffered a severe leg injury, we seek the touch of Your Hand to be upon his entire body and bring about a complete healing.  As we do not know the full extent of his injuries, we place him into Your Hands—our Great Physician and seek your continued touch and presence to be upon him.  May this injured officer intimately sense and experience Your Presence, love, grace, comfort and mercies carrying him through this difficult time as we know he is likely in great pain.  May You place all of the correct medical specialists at the hospital in his path.  May You instill supernatural wisdom and insight upon these doctors and may they properly diagnose his injuries and apply the correct treatment.  Lord, as we know the officers’ family is probably at his side, we ask for Your grace, comfort, mercy and peace to comfort their hearts and minds and hold them tightly in Your arms of Love--especially during this Christmas season.  May your amazing grace and mercies extend to the entire Los Angeles Police Department as they rally around their injured colleague.  May You grant the investigators wisdom and insight to gather all of the facts in this investigation to determine what happened.  And if this injured officer does not know You, may You reveal to him the love of Your Son, in whom there is forgiveness and everlasting life.  May You raise up Godly officers and/or chaplains to come to the aid of this injured officer and his family.  May You cause many Los Angeles officers to seek Your grace and Your healing power for their co-worker.  May many who may have strayed from Your Path be drawn back to You because of this near death encounter.  May many realize their need for You and receive You as their Savior and Lord, in the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
