Praying for two wounded Bellefontaine Neighbors (MO) Police Officers shot in their Kevlar vests

Our Gracious Lord, it is with extreme gratitude and thanks that we come before Your throne of Grace, O’ Lord, to thank You for sparing the lives of these two Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Officers shot in their Kevlar vests while attempting to detain a suspect.  As the news reports the suspect escaped and is now barricaded, may You give the law enforcement investigators wisdom to be able to take this suspect into custody safely.  May You surround every law enforcement officer on that scene with Your hands of Protection.  May You supernaturally protect them from all harm and danger.  We ask you to touch the heart and mind of this suspect and cause him to become fatigued and surrender.  May You prevent him from using his weapons to harm any others.  May You, Lord, cause this suspect to be filled with remorse, guilt and sorrow.  May this suspect be filled with Your Love and grace and peacefully surrender.  And as both officers are being treated at a local hospital, may You grant the medical staff wisdom and insight to diagnose their injuries and then apply the correct treatment.  And as the Christmas season is upon us, we thank You, Lord, for the gift in sparing the lives of these two servants.  May Your love, grace, peace, Presence, mercy and comfort touch their hearts and minds as they unite with their families at this very emotional time.  We thank You for the service fo these two officers for Your word says, ““Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”.  May Your peace that passes all understanding descend upon these wounded officers and their families and draw them ever so close to Your Son, Jesus, in who there is peace, grace and mercy.  May You prevent these officers and family members from enduring any emotional trauma brought on by these traumatic incidents  May Your amazing grace touch every member of the Bellefontaine Neighbors Police Department and allied officers involved in this stand-off.  May You cause the suspect to immediately surrender peacefully.  May You draw many officers and family members unto Your Son Jesus, especially as Christmas approaches, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
