Our Merciful Savior and Lord, the men and women of law enforcement need Your Presence at all times in everything we do.  We again, seek Your abundant mercies and grace upon these four South Carolina law enforcement officers who have been shot in the line of duty.  As the news details are sketchy and their conditions unknown, we ask You, Lord, to surround these wounded peacemakers with Your Holy Spirit.  May You continue to line up any needed medical specialists to be immediately ready to render the appropriate treatment upon Your servants.  May Your Hands rest upon these four wounded peacemakers and preserve their lives in Your loving arms.  O’ God, spare their lives.  Surround them with Your angelic hosts and keep the evil one away from their hearts and spirits.  May Your peace that passes all understanding gently settle upon the hearts of these law enforcement officers and may You, even now, begin the healing process and restore them to full health.  May Your Presence and comfort especially touch the families of these peace officers as they are rallying around them to support them at this very emotional time.  We are so thankful the suspect has bee arrested.  Grant the investigators with supernatural wisdom and insight as they investigate this attack.  Lord, we ask for Your love, grace, peace, mercy and comfort to strengthen the men and women of the York County Sheriff and Police Department as they endure this attack on their co-workers.  Lord, may Your Presence fill the hearts and minds of every officer/deputy and may they know it is You who are carrying them through this time of uncertainty.  Lord, fill every officer and deputy with Your Wisdom, Your Peace and most of all the presence of Your Holy Spirit.  Raise up chaplains and Godly officers to reach out to support each other.  May You continue to supernaturally protect every law enforcement officer across America.  May Your words as follows dwell richly in the heart of those in need, “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.” Draw many unto the love of Your Son for salvation is found only in Him, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
